Garbage-based counter-terrorism (2009/04/16)

There are several billboards next to where I live and here’s a photo of the newest poster to show you that I am not making this up.

These chemicals won't be used in a bomb because a neighbour reported the dumped containers

What does this garbage bin tell you? Someone does not know about separating special waste? Unsuspecting children could poison themselves? The groundwater could get polluted? No! This looks like the garbage bin of a terrorist!

Well, I can assure everyone that my neighbour’s garbage bin does not contain any suspicious chemicals. Here’s a picture so you can check for yourself.

This terrorist will have to be more careful in the future
  1. This seems to be an old blender probably made in Russia
  2. That looks like an American Airlines model
  3. The thermosflask is probably broken since it’s in the trash bin
  4. It’s perfectly reasonable to throw out the Bush video after Obama’s election

But I’ll keep my eyes open just in case …
